Today the BBC ran a very interesting article on gender inequality in the workplace, certainly worth a read. It brought to mind the often quoted fact that women seems to be better at multi-tasking than men. It is generally seen a positive thing, but I think it might be our downfall. For if we are busy successfully managing all aspects of our, and our families/partners lives then we cannot blindly devote ourselves to one venture or interest and thus become the absolute best at it. It seems to me that in order to change this cycle of men dominating top level jobs we may need to start by instilling a different approach to work and indeed life in girls from a much younger age.
