Essentially the role as a Media Sales Account Manager will entail selling advertising space across the company’s portfolio of products, tailoring bespoke packages to the client’s individual needs. Our client, an award winning conference firm is currently searching for a Sponsorship & Delegate Sales Business Development Manager with a fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin to work across a portfolio of their events in the Asian markets giving you a diverse and varied range of work. The firm works across top level conference, summits and training events for top level management and directors in areas such as government and energy.
As Sponsorship & Delegate Sales Business Development Manager you will be required to develop the Sponsorship & Delegate revenue on a portfolio of products. You’ll also work closely with other event team members (producers, marketing sales & event managers) to ensure success and smooth running of events, adding another element to the role, allowing you to go beyond simply phone bashing. On this note you be involved in devising a sales strategy for each project, discussing and agreeing realistic and achievable targets for each of the projects. As opposed to normal sponsorship & delegate sales role you’ll be required to arrange meetings with clients and carry out face to face presentations on a regular basis, giving you some time out of the office and getting a chance to meet your key clients and allowing you to provide better creative solutions to your clients’ needs. As a Media Sales Executive/ Senior Media Sales Executive you will play a key part in launching an exciting new B2B magazine brand in a niche sector of the travel industry in which they already enjoy unparalleled exposure.
