Major international media group seeks both experienced and trainee Conference Producers as part of a major expansion phase. As Conference Producer you will be responsible for developing commercially viable, cutting-edge conferences through carrying out in-depth research into the relevant market and topics. This will involve networking with senior executives within major blue chip firms, writing and producing conference brochures, acquiring top level speakers and overseeing the sales, marketing and logistics teams as they bring the conferences to fruition. Our client’s events link conferences to its major magazine brands, giving you the depth and quality sometimes lacking in some of the more aggressive commercial conference firms. The roles would either suit an experienced Conference Producer or Senior Producer or those with strong academic credentials (2:1/1st class degree or equivalent) and commercial experience gained in a role that would develop transferable skills (e.g. qualitative research or something customer-facing).
