+ Profit Share (Ref: 17817)
Excellent opportunity to join a real market-leader, with a wealth of expertise and second-to-none reputation in its sectors. Our client, an international business information provider, has created a new role for a Head of Conferences to take control of its fledgling conference business and drive its growth over the coming years. As Head of Conferences, you will inherit a portfolio of existing events, enhance their profitability and devise and launch new conferences and awards. You will manage a small, existing team, hiring additional staff across the production, sales, marketing and logistics functions as you expand the portfolio. You will join a rapidly expanding company, led by am extremely well-regarded industry figure. The company’s breadth of products mean that you will have access to the best possible speakers, in an environment where you will often become aware of future topics well ahead of the competition. Quality is key to this role - the events tend to be delegate, rather than sponsorship, driven and our client is proud of its sense of business ethics. If you have a track record in leading business-to-business conferences, most likely having worked your way through the production route, and fancy a move to an environment away from the typical churn approach of many of the commercial conference firms, this could be an ideal opportunity.
