Conference Manager (Oil & Gas, Energy)

Fantastic opportunity to join this major player in the international events community. Our client is looking for a Conference Manager to take full ownership of a business that comprises conferences, training courses and online content and to drive forward future expansion. As Conference Manager you will have managerial responsibility for the production, sales, marketing, editorial and logistics functions, drawing together the activities of the individuals in the team and setting and overseeing the delivery of strategy. Our client already owns one of the must attend events in its sector, generating c. £1M in revenue from the one event on its own. As well as managing this event, you will oversee the conception and launch of further products and diversification into further, yet related, markets. This role therefore offers an exciting blend of a proven, stable brand and the potential for significant future growth. Candidates need to have managerial-level experience within the conference world and, preferably, have managed multi-functional staff (in particular sales and conference production). Any exposure of overseeing the generation and delivery of online content would also be advantageous. Experience of the Oil and Gas and/or Energy sectors would be preferred.

Conference Production Manager (Finance)

Conference Production Manager required for major international events group. Running a portfolio of both existing and new conferences within the financial sector, you will be responsible for both managing a team of Conference Producers and continuing to be involved in hands-on production of the most business-critical events. As Conference Production Manager you will have full managerial responsibility including setting and achieving P&L targets, hiring, training, mentoring and getting the most out of your team, quality control, scheduling and topic generation for launch events. You will be given plenty of autonomy but will also have the support of a highly experienced senior management team, giving you the opportunity to further develop your own skills and further your career. Our client is either looking for an experienced Conference Production Manager or a Senior Conference Producer who is ready for promotion. Strong knowledge of the financial sector is essential.
