This is an early career opportunity for a talented and ambitious salesperson to join a global business, receive excellent sales training, and develop their career in the world of large scale B2B events.

Selling event sponsorship on a life science portfolio, an interest in the sector is a plus, with the main focus being someone who has learnt the foundations of business development and is now looking to advance their career and sales skills.

The Business Development Manager will:

  • Sell lucrative sponsorship packages on life science events across the US.
  • Build consultative relationships with senior leaders at both start-ups and multi national corporation.
  • Drive event revenue and hit financial targets in place for each event.
  • Foster long-term relationships that understand business problems and needs.
  • Travel to events across the US to network, renew, and upsell.
  • Work closely with production and marketing to understand the portfolio and qualify leads.

The ideal candidate:

  • 6+ months’ B2B sales experience in any sector.
  • A desire to learn and develop your sales career.
  • An excellent communicator and able to build relationships with C-suite executives.
  • Interest in life sciences is beneficial.
  • Target driven and money motivated with the opportunity to earn great commission in this role.
