This is an opportunity to be the go-to reporter for a global audience of bankers, lawyers, and advisors for the largest M&A news service.
You’ll be responsible for breaking news inside the Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission, leveraging your network to get exclusive angles on the latest proceedings and developing a network of relevant executives, advisors, and lawyers.
We’re looking for an experienced journalist with an existing reputation for breaking antitrust stories. In return you will be well rewarded and there is a bonus as well as salary.
Responsibilities include:
- Writing insights and analysis on antitrust and competition law cases going through Washington
- Building a network of contacts through calls, meetings, and attending relevant business and governmental events
- Reporting from court as well as breaking scoops on the latest proceedings ahead major competitors

Requirements include:
- Significant experience as a business, financial or legal journalist with a demonstrable interest in antitrust events
