Ideally you will have experience of reporting on distressed debt, but you could be an experienced financial reporter who is keen to break into the distressed space, with demonstrable knowledge and experience of the issues in Asia. Either way, you will have curiosity, determination and the attributes to break scoops.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years’ experience reporting on distressed debt or financial markets
  • A proactive, people-first mindset – you like building contacts and asking smart questions
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly
  • A keen eye for accuracy, balance and detail
  • A self-starting attitude with a genuine interest in financial news
