A leading financial media and events group, with expertise in private equity investment, is looking for a high achieving sales executive to work in its Tokyo office. The role involves calling, emailing, meeting and presenting to Japanese institutional investors to get them to attend a range of events across APAC. You need to speak fluent Japanese and English, to be a first class communicator and have fabulous interpersonal skills.
Working closely with the financial events and publishing industry you will gain unrivalled insight and expertise in private equity, real estate capital, venture capital, and more.

The Investment Engagement Executive/ Sales Role:
- You will work and communicate directly with senior clients in the financial industry – selling delegate passes to elite financial events.
- Working in a close-knit team while part of wider supportive employer network.
- Demonstrating and selling the highest quality financial event subscription platforms via Zoom to leaders in the UK private markets industry.
- Delivering against daily/weekly/monthly targets in relation to volume and revenue.
You:
- Have some B2B sales experience in a corporate environment – successfully hitting your targets – ESSENTIAL.
- Speak fluent Japanese and English – ESSENTIAL.
- An interest in the financial sector would be an advantage.
- Are an independent and self-motivated learner who is comfortable taking feedback and shows a desire to keep learning.
- Are an independent thinker with initiative, keen to make the most of opportunities to progress in a growing and successful financial media group.
- Can demonstrate excellent communication skills and are personable and charismatic.
