This is an opportunity for an experienced Marketing Director to join a highly successful B2B media company at their central London office working closely with the Managing Director.
The ideal candidate will have experience building out high performing teams (more than 10), be a forward-thinking strategic marketer and have a strong understanding of B2B event marketing, preferably conferences.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute marketing strategy for events.
- Identify new business opportunities and technologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness of marketing operations and campaigns.
- Create pricing strategies at event level to drive customer and commercial growth based on deep understanding of the market, event objectives, customer and competitors.
- Work with central marketing to build a connected customer journey and strategically aligning events and lead generation campaigns.
- Full ownership of the marketing budget.
- Work closely with production, sales and operations to produce high performing event marketing campaigns to meet delegate targets.
- Experience in use of data analysis to inform strategy and marketing campaign design and data building initiatives.
The successful candidate will display:
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience and proven success of developing high performing teams.
- Experience running B2B event marketing teams, conferences preferable.
- Strategic marketer who has strong leadership skills and is clearly driven to help achieve growth ambitions.
- Someone who is confident with meeting tight deadlines and in a fast-paced role.
- Highly organised, analytical, and comfortable presenting at all levels.
- Experience managing marketing, CRM and event technology platforms.
