A new name in B2B intelligence, used by major developers, investors, lenders and advisors is expanding its European coverage. They deliver actionable insight across renewables project finance, M&A, regulation and investment strategy. With rapid growth across Europe, they are looking for an experienced reporter to lead scoop-driven coverage on the markets shaping utility-scale and distributed generation assets.
You will track deals from early-stage development through financing and acquisition. Expect a heavy emphasis on building relationships with senior lenders, developers, investors and advisors and turning their insights into market-moving exclusives. If you enjoy off-diary sourcing and spotting financial implications behind policy, financing structures and corporate strategy, this job gives you the platform to become a go-to voice in the sector.
Key responsibilities
- Breaking exclusive M&A, financing and project-level news before it reaches the market
- Securing interviews with senior bankers, investors, developers, and advisors
- Participating in podcasts, moderating panels and representing coverage at industry events
Key requirements include
- Significant experience as a scoop journalist, ideally covering M&A, leveraged finance, and/or project finance
- A solid understanding of project finance, M&A, private markets or energy investment
- Confidence approaching senior executives and building a network fast
