With more than twenty years’ experience at the company, Rupert is our Managing Director. He has covered every sector of recruitment in his time at the company, gaining a significant number of contacts as a result - he provides specialist support to our teams across all sectors, while also currently working directly with our PR team.
Rupert went from gardening to recruitment consultancy, being one of few Londoners to be accredited by the Royal Horticultural Society. He has previously served as Chair of the Marketing, Media and Creative sector group of the REC, the industry’s leading trade association.

Julia recruits healthcare communications staff at all levels, for both agencies and pharmaceutical companies (covering healthcare advertising, PR, medical communications, public affairs, corporate comms, market access, market research, clinical trial recruitment, biotech specialists, marketing, branding, digital).
Outside work, if she’s not in the gym or in the pub, she’s likely to be cooking or have her head in a book. Julia twice went around the world for more than a year, chasing kangaroos and editing news for a Thai newspaper.

Jonathan recruits for sales, marketing, operations, content and tech roles, specifically for events (business conferences, exhibitions, trade shows) and business intelligence/information companies.
After leaving University with a degree in culture, media and society, Jonathan moved into the education sector spending time working as an English teacher in South Korea and Spain. He spends his free time playing and watching sports – hoping that Newcastle United’s fortunes will improve – and travels as much as possible.

Ben works with media and intelligence businesses (including newspapers and intelligence platforms) looking to hire specialist journalists, analysts, editors and writers.
In his spare time he enjoys long walks in the parks and baking.

Maz is an experienced consultant, having worked across multiple teams here at Media Contacts. She is currently recruiting widely across healthcare and medical communications..
Maz began working at Media Contacts after graduating from Edinburgh University with an MA in politics. In her spare time you’ll find her working her way through her list of London pubs and restaurants.

Michael is our Marketing Executive, the first time Media Contacts has invested heavily into marketing. He deals with our website, SEO, social media, branding and marketing campaigns.
Michael joined us in 2018 on his placement year as an admin and marketing assistant. Following the completion of his business and marketing degree at the University of Lincoln he has rejoined the team. When he isn’t overseeing the marketing function, you can find him in a West End theatre, reading or in the kitchen baking.

George has a degree in Politics from Lancaster University. He recruits for the events industry (business conferences, exhibitions, trade shows), publishers and business information providers for a diverse range of roles such as sales, operations, marketing, and production. George spends much of his spare time following West Ham United and playing a variety of sports.

This is the second time Alys has come back to work for Media Contacts. Having moved to Cardiff it seems she missed us too much! At work Alys helps ensure the smooth running of the company and therefore has quite a variety of responsibilities, freeing up our consultants to focus on finding the perfect candidates for our clients and the perfect jobs for our candidates.
Outside of work you’ll find her writing her pub quiz or watching her beloved Arsenal with a glass of wine in hand.

Holly recruits for the PR and communications sector. She is a graduate in film and media from London Metropolitan University. Previously Holly studied musical theatre and performed in the West End's Matilda the Musical. Holly loves catching up with family and friends on the weekend with a cold aperol spritz.

Adam recruits for a variety of PR roles across sectors including Food & Drink, Digital Marketing, Beauty, Fashion, Lifestyle and Luxury. Having studied Spanish and French at Newcastle University, he loves networking and chatting to interesting people. In his spare time, Adam enjoys going to the gym or having a pint with friends.

Meghan graduated in Business Management and has previous experience marketing for a sports company and working with a major retail bank on a consultancy project. In her spare time, she’s either watching or playing football and enjoys spending the weekends having drinks with friends. She also likes to travel as much as possible.

Samantha, originally from San Antonio, Texas, graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire with a BA in contemporary dance. Before joining Media Contacts’ PR team, she gained experience in healthcare and also used to teach dance. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym, travelling, baking, reading, and hanging out with friends at the pub.

Caitlin works within the Editorial team. Having recently completed a philosophy degree from Durham University, Caitlin joined Media Contacts following a gap year in which she spent time volunteering in Nepal, backpacking Europe, and working for a local charity. In her spare time, you will find her vibing with friends or making new ones.
