Riding high from their recent ‘Agency of the Year’ win, our client, a global health and consumer pR agency is looking to bolster its senior ranks with a talented Associate Director. The team is passionate about improving health outcomes and ultimately patient lives, and as part of a busy and collaborative team you will need to be as well! If you are genuinely creative, have managed a high performing team and come have 7+ years’ experience in the health/wellbeing team at a consumer PR agency, or from a healthcare PR agency  this is the call to make.

The Senior Associate Director’s Role:

  • Joining at a very exciting time, the team having just won some very high profile new business on cool brands (think: exercise brands, ophthalmology, OTC remedies and nutrition, etc, etc)
  • The work will be majority global, with some UK focused work and will include media relations, social and digital, competitor events, corporate and internal comms, developing strategic communications plans, etc.
  • You will lead and manage a team of  account handlers and will be proactive in inspiring and developing those you manage.
  • You will be play an integral role in supporting the senior leadership team.

Requirements:

  • You will have significant PR agency experience up to at least senior account director level.
  • You experience must be in consumer healthcare (NOT pharmaceutical. They do not want a pharma PR person wanting to move into consumer healthcare)
  • Team spirit and being up to date with the latest health and wellbeing trends and ideas
  • Understanding of the OTC and broader health environment.
