A financial news service is hiring a Senior Reporter to cover distressed debt and corporate event-driven opportunities across Southeast Asia and Australia.
You’ll need excellent sources in the region and solid experience covering credit—either as a financial journalist or from the buyside/sellside. You’ll be breaking exclusive news, writing sharp analysis, and working closely with our global editorial and research teams. A deep understanding of the regional market is essential, including how family, politics and relationships influence outcomes.
We’re looking for someone with:
- At least five years’ experience covering credit markets
- Strong writing skills and market instincts
- A solid network of sources across corporates, banks, advisers and regulators
- Fluency in English; Bahasa Indonesia a plus
- Eligibility to work in Singapore or Hong Kong preferred
